Exiting adventure

Together with Piero we established Traiano Luce 38 years ago, starting an exiting, beautiful adventure, at times complicated, particularly the first few years. We kept going forward despite challenges, helping each other when needed, running the business but also in private life, supporting each other
Today Traiano Luce is different, it looks different and it has different requirements. But the core and soul remained the same, the values we prioritised through the years are part of all everyday tasks.

Matilde Piovesan

1982

Piero was working as installer technician and Lighting general repairs. He was a proper Lights Artisan Matilde made Lampshades. In 1982 they merged their passion and knowledge and opened the showroom in Corso Traiano 73

2001 - 2003

Giovanni, after 10 years working in his family business, become sole director of Traiano Luce 73. The team grow rapidly, starting to offer a number of new services. New professional figures like Lighting Designers, Architects join Traiano

2006

The turnover further grew, we hired new professional figures, expanded the showroom and added the exhibition space where display over 100 brands.

2011

Traiano Luce 73 light up Palazzo Madama, Italian Senate headquarters, showing off the beauty of the historic building to celebrate the 150 years of Unita d’Italia (united Italy) – Turin Capital.

2013

Piero was honoured with the – 62 Prize of Labour and Economic Progress – handed to him directly by the Presidency of the Chamber of Commerc.

2014

Traiano Luce 73 light up the audience of the Theatre Regio di Torino. Thanks to Piero’s recognised experience and professionalism, began the long lasting collaboration for the Design and Realization of unique Lamps and Lighting Bodies for the Theatre Scenography and Shows. Most famously the time correct lamps for “The clemency of Tito” of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

2017

Traiano Luce 73 keep growing, widening the range of offered lighting products, now including outdoor, offices, retail, warehouses etc..

2018

Arriva la nuova brand identity, e con il logo uno slogan che non lascia dubbi: “follow the light” segui la luce!

2019

Traiano Luce 73 growing even more. Were stablished Traiano Hub and Traiano Studio, two new locations aimed to even wider range of offered services and options available to our clients. The Team is now composed by 15 fully dedicated professionals.

2021

Traiano Luce 73 welcomes the new Website and a significant addition, the Online Shop. Entirely new way to inspire our clients and display our ever growing range.

2022

We established in Turin the first Monobrand Flos of whole north Italy, Traiano Luce open a new showroom where to see and purchase entire range of products of the historic and worldwide famous Monobrand Flos. To welcome our clients specialised consultants specialised and brand’s related events .

2024

Complete renovation and upgrade of the historical Corso Traiano 73 showroom. Bigger, nicer and focused on improving our clients experience, providing throughout the perfect lighting.
